Travelodge the UK’s first budget hotel chain which operates 586 hotels across the UK, Ireland and Spain is continuing to invest in its estate.

Delivering quality, consistency and value is a key strategy for Travelodge which welcomes nearly 19 million customers annually. This investment is part of the next phase of Travelodge’s hotel refit programme following the company’s nationwide hotel modernisation programme. The programme has brought consistency and the company’s contemporary brand look to all of its UK hotels. As a result of this brand investment, the company has achieved record sales for the last five years and experienced a three-fold growth in business customers switching to Travelodge.

London Greenwich Travelodge, which is located at: Blackheath Road, Greenwich, London, SE10 8DA– has just received a £225,000 hotel refit which includes work in all 90en-suite rooms and public areas.

This comprehensive hotel refit programme includes the following:

  • Installation of new energy saving LED lights in the hotel rooms and public areas which create a warm ambiance
  • Decorating all rooms in a sleep inducing colour scheme
  • Bathroom works including: new flooring, refresh decor, new  vanity units and shower rails
  • Fitting new luxurious carpet in all rooms which complements the room décor
  • Installation of his & hers USB charging ports each side of the bed to avoid bedtime quarrels.

“Delivery quality, consistency and value sits at the heart of our business, and we are delighted to announce, London Greenwich Travelodge is our latest hotel to receive a revamp. The £225k investment took under 12 weeks to complete and the hotel team worked around the clock to ensure there was no comprise to our customer experience in any way.”

“Over the last few years we have strengthened Travelodge considerably which has resulted in record sales and growth in our customer base, especially business travellers. We want to build on this momentum and continue to invest in our estate.”
